Medical Research Intern

June 2019 - August 2019 Valhalla, NY
“As an intern, I was able to attend research meetings with doctors so I can learn all about the process and hear about new developments in the medical field. I learned so much from going to conferences too. I got certified to be able to participate in carrying out research. The research I worked on was about environmental effects on human health, with pediatric pulmonology. I also was able to shadow in the clinic, outpatient, and inpatient. I formed great relationships with the doctors and the other interns. This was my favorite experience of the summer.”
