“I loved how willing the engineers were to teach me new things. I knew nothing about what they were doing going in, but at the end of the internship I could explain what electrical engineers at the SFPUC do and how it relates to the bigger picture in providing water, power, and sewer services to San Francisco and the Bay Area. Specifically, I liked how when I was given submittals to look over, they would go over it again with me afterward and explain what I did well, what I did poorly, why it mattered, and how I could do better next time.”
