South Guide or Orientation Leader
The Office of Prospective Student Programs & New Student Orientation is looking for students who are energetic and love South Alabama to assist us in our mission to guide prospective families in their Jaguar Journey. Our staff works very closely with families that are interested in joining Jag Nation and help them through the discovery process. While Orientation Leaders and South Guides have very similar jobs, they are fundamentally different. Student staff tasks that are present in both positions include, but are not limited to: assisting guests during campus visits and special events; outreach via phone and email to share information about South, guiding students through Orientation events (virtually and in-person) or processes, and more!
At this time, we are hiring for two separate positions: Orientation Leader and South Guide. Please review the descriptions and qualifications specific to each (can be found on the external application) and complete the application accordingly. After reviewing both positions, you'll have the opportunity to select which one(s) you are interested in. Starting pay for these positions is $10.00/hour with opportunities for advancement.
